Don't Drink the Water!

Don't Drink the Water!

An odd statement for us living in the U.S. where we have supposedly some of the safest water in the world.  As more and more people populate the planet we are forced to go to more extreme measures to obtain safe water.

Here in south Florida we are forced to reclaim water from sewage.  Recently most of Broward county was under a boil water alert and that was only one of several over the past few years.  This alert was for e. coli contamination.  While e. coli is bad it is quite easily treated by the individual by boiling or adding a small amount of bleach to kill the bacteria.

However, what is more alarming is the enormous amount of un-metabolised  pharmaceutical drugs which must remain in our water as filtration on the commercial level is inadequate at best.  Steroids, cancer drugs, estrogen replacements, antibiotics and worst of all illicit drugs are present in the city water coming to your home.  What is scarier is that municipal water is more regulated than the bottled water you buy in the store.

A published report recently reported that 70% of the population of the U. S. takes pharmaceutical medication.  30% of those are anti-depressant types of medication.

If you are like my wife and I, you do your best to consume non processed, non-gmo foods to protect your health.  But the elephant in the room is the water that you drink or cook with.  Think about it.  The average human needs, not wants, one gallon of water every day for health survival.  What is really in your water?

We already know that the U.S. government is protecting the most dangerous company in the world, Monsanto.  Do you really think they are concerned with the possibility of un-metabolized drugs in the water which are produced by the drug companies that have vast control over our government?

Really?  The government already knowingly puts fluoride in the water which is proven  to reduce mental capacity.  How easy do you think it would be for someone with an agenda to contaminate a water supply?

DON’T DRINK THE WATER!

Find a good water purification system and use it.  Brita will not do the trick.  You must use a system that removes as much as possible.  Filtered rain water would be your best bet and that is being contaminated by whatever they are spraying in the air every day.

Wake up.  Don’t be a victim.  Take charge of your life and your health.  You are responsible for your own well being.  Remember, the government is “owned” by Monsanto and the big drug companies.  Whose best interest do you think they have in mind?

Be aware.  Be safe.  Be well.

Sincerely,

Doc

Wow!! this is frightening. I wasn't aware of the practice of reusing the sewer water...not very refreshing to say the least.

Not a big surprise to me. I've been anti-flouride for decades. Public "water systems" have always scared me, so we've had a pretty good filtration system (under counter) in our kitchen, but it doesn't protect your from shower water, etc. People are just in the dark, in their own world and dumping their old meds down the toilet :( Ick.

I did not realize city water was so bad! We used to live on well water for a really long time. I miss it. I would like to move back to the country and be on well water again.

Thanks for sharing Doc the majority of people have no idea what is in the city water. We were told by a retired water worker not to drink the city water, he didn't say why just not to drink it. Luckily we still have the well on the property and able to start using that.

So, Do you have an suggestions of what to use. I am a senior on a limited budget. How do bottled waters rate ? What's a person to do ?
Thanks.

Hey GunnyMom! I tried to respond to your comment but I was unable to do so.

We are currently researching water filtration systems for our home. We use an AguaSauna filter for our shower.

We're leaning toward the Big Berkey Water filtration System (link below)

I had not considered pharmaceuticals in the water. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, D@TheShadyPorch

I'm with D Stepp, I never considered the pharmaceuticals in the water either. I've never been a fan of bottled water mainly because of the number of plastic bottles going to the landfills. I try to get as much of my water needs filled by eating fruits and vegetables.

Darlene, we still drink water. At the moment we purchase large containers of drinking water then send it through a filter.

We are awaiting the arrival of our water filtration system.

Drinking at least 64 ounces of WATER daily is critical to health and survival.

Wow, sad. Does the same thing apply to those who have their own wells?

Is bottled water really that much better? Where does it come from? We just filter the water through Brita, but I would like to get something better. Thanks for linking up at Romance on a dime!!
