My favorite veggie to grow right now is beets! My beets produced so much this spring, with much better quality than store bought beets and bonus yummy greens! I have candystripes and golden beets this time.
My favorite is peas, no store bought pea tastes like one straight from the garden!

Zucchini! And greens...all greens...but especially Swiss chard. You gotta love Swiss chard. It gives a whole new meaning to ordinary food like soup and pizza.
My favorite veggie to grow is Sweet Potatoes - because of the taste & the fun treasure hunt of harvesting!
