First Garden Update of 2013! Plus FREE Seeds!

Good Morning!  I realize that January isn't really "Garden Season" unless you live in a warm climate like Florida.  I thought I would start the year out by sharing what's growing in my garden at the moment.

The Royalty Purple Podded Beans I planted back in November are just about ready to harvest.  I'm amazed that in approx 55 days we have purple beans!

I planted Red-Fig tomatoes quite a while ago and I have bunches and bunches of green pear-shaped baby tomatoes.

Also growing in the garden is this gorgeous Dark Purple Opal Basil.  This baby started out green but as I have harvested leaves, the re-growth is an amazing shade of purple

I also started a few more seeds.  I ONLY use Heirloom Seeds and I definitely prefer Peat Pellets for a simple, mess-free seed-starting medium.
Yes, this is my dining room table.  I needed plenty of space!
I couldn't get a good picture but I have several type of peppers growing at the moment: Cal Wonder, Jalapeno and Serrano.

Because I am so passionate about heirloom seeds and viciously against GMOs I'd like to offer YOU an opportunity to join me.  You don't even need a yard.  For apartment dwellers there are many varieties that grow very well in containers and Sprouts are always a nutritious option.

If you don't already know, I (with help from the hubs) own and operate a small heirloom seed business called Mary's Heirloom Seeds.  We may not have the lowest prices around but we offer first class customer service, free shipping and free seed packs.  Also, all orders placed Monday-Friday ship within 24 hours, except for holidays.

If you are interested in starting a garden or expanding a garden I would love for you to check out our selection of unique Heirloom Seeds.  A great resource is the Growing from Seed page.

Right now, through January 25th we are giving away loads of FREE Seed Pack with each purchase.

ALL orders $10-$25 will receive 1 FREE seed pack.

Orders $26-$55 will include 2 FREE seed packs.

All orders over $55 will include 3 FREE Seed packs of your choice!

Free shipping included on ALL orders!

*Free Heirloom garden Seeds only.  Does not include sprout seeds*

If you are a blogger, I will include FREE Peat Pellets with your order!  Just use the comment section when checking out and leave your URL.  If you wish to purchase additional Peat Pellets they are available HERE.  Instructions HERE
*I also ship to Hawaii/Alaska/Canada FREE on orders over $35*

Thanks for stopping by!
I'm looking forward to expanding the garden in 2013
and encourage you to do the same!

I really need to check out your seeds too...I have a ton left over from last year, but there are a few things I still need :)
